We wanted to keep it as simple as possible for the vendor, so that you get what you require from them in a timely manner. Our web forms are pre-populated from your purchase order, so that means very limited data entry is needed at the vendor level. A few clicks of the mouse, and they have provided you with an update. Any transactions you require, such as an Acknowledgement, Ship Notice, Invoice, etc. can be done on our web portal.
Did you know you can also set up “rules” for your vendors within the web portal? For instance, let’s say you require an Acknowledgement returned to you within 72 hours. If you do not receive that Acknowledgement, ecUtopia will trigger an auto-emailed alert to your vendor, reminding them to log in and take care of it. Maybe Vendor A must acknowledge the PO within 72 hours, but Vendor B has 7 days. You can set that up as a rule. If you don’t allow certain vendors to change quantities, you can set that up as a rule. If you don’t allow any vendors to change quantities, you can set that up as well. There are many options you can customize by vendor to meet your needs.
